Description

The manufacturing technology teams at TE Connectivity are process leaders in all stamping, casting, or assembly-related topics and ensure that processes run at optimal levels in terms of quality and performance. They are experts in the areas of mold and stamping production, machining, and assembly technology and have extensive knowledge of related manufacturing processes, including the optimization and standardization of stamping/casting/assembly or other processes in the manufacturing environment.

This position is initially limited to 15 months.

Responsibilities:

In the area of hose extrusion:

Responsible for the process-related commissioning of new production equipment
Technical optimization of existing production equipment and processes
Participation in the introduction of new products into production
Proactive support of ongoing production operations in daily business
Documentation of existing and new processes (creation and regular updates)
Project management: Independent handling, control, and monitoring of projects
Driving productivity/efficiency improvement programs and implementing and using TEOA tools such as value stream mapping, QCO, Kaizen events, Six Sigma, 3P, etc.
Interdisciplinary collaboration within the company and with suppliers
