- The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will provide patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the designated supervising staff physician.
- The PA or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for evaluating patients in an outpatient setting, obtaining patient medical history, performing histories and physicals, taking and recording vitals, rooming patients and interpreting tests.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with the physicians and other professionals regarding medical findings and patient treatment plans.
- The PA or Nurse Practitioner will be able to assess and prioritize patient concerns and make a determination regarding patient care/treatment and safety in a prompt manner, and at times, must be able to explain complicated medical information and recommend treatment options to patients.
- Reviews charts, records and follows up on phone calls regarding preoperative. Will endorse medical charts once physical exams are complete.
- The PA or Nurse Practitioner will strictly perform services outlined under a supervising physicians written agreement (this will be the center's Medical Director).
- This APP will have no prescribing responsibility.
- Must possess sound and proven presentation skills.
- Must be a self- disciplined, highly motivated team player who has a sense of ownership, accountability and strong work ethic.
- Must be process and detailed focused, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a group, and multi-task in
- challenging, sometime stressful situations.
- Strong computer skills required.

Job DescriptionDescription:Under the general supervision of the practice physician leadership, the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner provides patient-centered, safe and effective care in a fast-paced environment. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will focus on care of the urologic patient in an outpatient setting, working closely with physicians, completing physicals, taking histories, and running EKGs. The PA or Nurse Practitioner is an important part of our team and plays an integral role in insuring quality and compassionate healthcare while also displaying clinical and operative skills.

Job Requirements:
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Experience:
1 years' experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Education:
1. Master's degree required.
2. Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Must be Certified (PA-C) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
2. Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
3. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
4. Additional certifications specific to specialty may be required or preferred.
Possess the ability to interact with a variety of people at a variety of levels with excellent verbal and communication skills, strong customer service skills, understanding of how to prioritize, and the willingness to take on new challenges all while recognizing the needs of the practice/physicians/patients.
