Homewood is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Operations Technology (m/f/d) at DB Cargo AG in Seddin near Potsdam, starting on September 1st. The vocational school is located in Berlin-Spandau and the training workshop is in Berlin-Schöneweide.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • Identifying and resolving malfunctions in our freight vehicles
  • Learning about measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures and documenting them accurately
  • Ensuring that our trains are always ready for operation, primarily working on electric locomotives
  • Maintaining and repairing electronic components on our trains, such as information displays, drive motors, and monitoring systems
