We are currently searching for an 11a-7p Spanish speaking Activity Aide to join our friendly, caring and supportive team In keeping with our organization's goal of improving the lives of the residents we serve, the Activity Aide is responsible for creating and implementing stimulating programs that meet the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of the residents.

Some of the essential functions of the role include;

  • Responsible for planning activities which meet specific resident needs that include large groups, small groups and individual attention.
  • Observe and report resident's attendance, participation, and behavior changes by documenting and charting.
  • Must be knowledgeable of individual care plans and support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations of the resident's needs, preferences and report any behavioral changes.
  • Coordinates activity programs with volunteers from the surrounding community by providing guidance and assigning tasks.
  • Meet and greet all new residents upon arrival to the facility.

The Grove Evanston by interacting with and providing companionship to our residents, encouraging residents to participate in activities, assisting with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games, crafts, and accompanying residents on activities outside of the facility.

Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they emotional and social wellbeing needs are met.


To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
As a minimum;

  • A Tenth (10th) grade education
  • Fluent in Spanish
