Job Summary:


As the HR Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in our team, overseeing a range of crucial responsibilities encompassing both payroll and employee onboarding.

Your primary focus will be ensuring smooth and accuracy of payroll entries before processing. You'll also spearhead the onboarding process for new hires, guiding them through different stages of the new hire process.

This position demands meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in payroll systems, and a knack for building strong relationships with employees.

You'll be a central figure in our HR department, supporting our team's efforts to cultivate a positive, efficient, and productive work environment.

Where You'll Be

  • The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday
  • After inperson training is completed, this will be a hybrid role with 23 days inoffice at our Inland Group corporate office in Oak Brook, IL.
  • The pay range for this role is $50,000 $60,000 annually.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and nonmandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, antiharassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Monitor and audit payroll entries to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enter data information into appropriate databases and spreadsheets.
  • Manage employee files and sensitive data.
  • Create and manage multiple spreadsheets.
  • Conducts employee onboarding.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Assists with employmentrelated inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance for all locations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Dayforce experience is a plus.
  • HireRight experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel up to 10% if required.
