High School diploma or GED. C.P.R. certified. Working knowledge of Public Safety communications preferred.

Must possess or obtain certification in the IAED (International Academy of Emergency Dispatch) 40 hour Telecommunicator training, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Emergency Fire Dispatch, Emergency Police Dispatch, and Pennsylvania State Police CLEAN Operator program within three (3) months of date of hire.

Must complete the Franklin County PEMA approved training program per Act 12 (The 911 Emergency Communications Services Act) within six (6) months of date of hire.
