Position Overview
The primary responsibility of Accounts Payable is to process vendor invoices for payment. If there are issues, they must communicate with the warehouses, buyers and/or vendors to resolve. Other responsibilities include Returns, Ship and Debits, Account reconciliations and payment responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions

Monthly review and reconciliation of vendor statements.
Open communication with buyers, warehouses and vendors to ensure vendor accounts are uptodate and accurate.
Good grasp of basic A/P concepts.

Non-essential Job Functions

Knowledge of our vendor base and the terms extended to us by them.
Familiarity with EDI processing and able to print EDI invoices.
Ability to use CETEC to research discrepancies.

Requirements:

Proficient use of CETEC for invoice processing & discrepancy research and Vision 360.
Ability to remain calm when communicating with difficult or angry vendors.

Other Skills/Abilities

Professional communication skills to be used with vendors, colleagues and management.

Computer skills

Excel, CETEC, Vision 360
Good problemsolving skills
Familiar with foreign currencies and able to convert between currencies

_ This position is considered Hybrid, in that you are allowed to work one day per week from Home, but you are required to be in-office particularly during your onboarding period.
