- Responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State & local regulations and conformance to HSE Management System and program requirements.
- Responsible for direct supervision of HSE staff, ensuring effective field engagement, training, development, coaching, and mentoring for talent management.
- Analyze HSE trends and develop strategic action plans with Operations Leaders to support continuous improvement of HSE performance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for regulators, clients, and sub-contractors concerning HSE-related issues.
- Provide support in the development and distribution of HSE-related data for bid packages etc.
- Support Business Development and Commercial functions in the pursuit of new projects/work through the creation of HSE documentation and attending high-level customer visits where necessary.
- Develop and deliver HSE-related reports, presentations, and/or training as requested.
- Assists in incident investigations, HSE inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Facilitate working groups for HSE systems improvement and special projects.
- Participate as a member of the Utilities Segment HSE community and drive standardization across assigned regions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science,
- or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of industry-relevant HSE experience required.
- Must hold or be working toward professional certifications, e.g., PMP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, REM, etc.
- Detailed understanding of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization.

As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for functional leadership and direct supervision of the HSE team across the Western Region for Snelson Companies, Inc.
