Description
Provides clinical assessment, service coordination, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning for the residential program.- Assessment of individuals with substance use disorders with treatment recommendations provided to treatment team and other service providers.
- Collaborates with internal and external treatment providers to ensure appropriate treatment recommendations and discharges plans are in place.
- Conducting individual and family sessions, group therapeutic activities, and discharge planning, as needed, for adults who present for service.
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of all information in the clinical record.
- Actively respond to individuals who show signs of crisis, which may include mental health symptomology or unsafe behaviors. Work as a team with other staff to deescalate.
- Assists with screening referrals for appropriateness and coordinating admissions
- Communicate admission to agency staff, programs and / or community partners who are currently involved with patient.
- Develop a behavioral treatment plan with measurable objectives that the individual can work toward while completing residential treatment.
- Complete chart audits while updating and monitoring accuracy of clinician tracker.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in human services field.
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with individuals in behavioral health.
- Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Stamina to stand, walk, sit, and perform tasks for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for documentation.
- Auditory acuity for verbal interactions whether facetoface or over the phone.
- Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to use a computer

- Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries.
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to effectively communicate with community organizations.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
