    We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will drive our growing POM Juice sales by seeking out new business opportunities.

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the customer strategy with their key accounts, demonstrating strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing first-class customer service to our business partners.

    This position reports directly to the Director of Sales for POM and will work closely with partners from other Wonderful business units.

    Job DescriptionDevelop new on-premise account relationships with universities, bars, restaurants & hospitality chains, as well as select convenience storesEstablish relationships, build brand presence, and execute key sales strategies to develop new accounts and grow existing businessActively manage distributor and redistributor networks with a focus on developing relationships with key Foodservice distributorsDevelop route-to-market strategy for non-traditional channels serviced through distributor networksExpand relationships with existing customers by continuously developing, executing, and participating in sales meetings with appropriate frequency to increase share of mind, distribution, programming, and feature activityDevelop and execute account-specific customer programs to achieve optimal business objectivesAssist in developing and delivering annual business reviews at each of your accountsDrive improved execution of account programming by collaborating with customer headquarters contacts and potential broker partners, including making calls on direct and broker-represented customersDrive quality business communication and ongoing cross-functional interaction with Brokers, Sales Team, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Brand MarketingAssess risk and impact potential for new business opportunitiesQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience selling multiple product lines to multiple accounts across various channelsBachelor's degree or 4-6 years of sales experienceMust have a strong understanding of Foodservice supply chain and distributor networkExperience with managing Foodservice distributors and BroadlinersDeliver strategic, fact-based presentations and business plans that incorporate actionable insights to retailers, distributors, and internal customersEffective communication and interpersonal skillsManage account level P&L for branded portfolioAbility to adapt to evolving roles and responsibilities; open to new learning opportunitiesSolid understanding of the following areas: sales and distribution functions, business development, and point-of-sale marketingSelf-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable developing new business contacts and relationshipsMust be available for up to 35% - 50% travel at timesIntermediate computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BIExperience analyzing sales data (shipments, depletions, POS data, etc.)

    Strong presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and support multiple internal customersPay Range:
    $110,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
