Check in patients upon arrivalVerify/update patient demographicsScan insurance cardsCollect outstanding balances and co-paysAssist with additional scheduling such as labs, x-rays, procedures, or testing; send ordersTake messages and triage phone callsSchedule patient appointmentsInitiate paperwork for insurance referrals and pre-authorizationsCheck out patient and print CVSResponsible for daily cash out and bank depositRecords releasesMonitor fax tank and scan recordsOur ideal candidate will have:Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilityAbility to think through potential solutions to issuesGood time management and prioritization skillsGood computer skills
