This position is responsible for scheduling and registering patients. Must be proficient in phone/voicemail management, computer skills, communication skills, and teamwork. This position will also collect visit co-pays and have knowledge of insurance program requirements. Input and update patient data. This position will assist with daily clinic cleaning. Revenue cycle related duties and other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
7:30 to 4pm, rotating with team and 8:00-4:30/8:30-5pmWhat you'll do:Opening and closing clinicPhone and voicemail managementProficient in fax/copier unit, scanner, and credit card machine.
New patient registrationScheduling new and recurring patientsCollect applicable co-pays/co-insuranceProvide patient appointment reminder callsMaintain waiting room cleanlinessIs flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities not noted above.
Revenue cycle related dutiesMinimum Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to assess situations and make decisionsMust complete yearly mandatory safety in-services and/or trainingsMust complete yearly HealthStream e
