No matter what stage of your career, you can build your future at Tempur Sealy Tempur Sealy is hiring for a 1st Shift maintenance technician at our Mountain Top, PA facility. The Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled craftsperson responsible for the installation/start-up and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds-the objective being to maximize production and functional longevity and appearance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

    Requirements:

    Duties Include:
    Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant machinery, equipment, building and grounds.
    Fabricate and install special equipment as needed.
    Perform maintenance, administrative, production, or other duties as assigned. Perform and improve PM inspections, TPM events, and machinery knowledge database support.
    Meet or exceed all safety required items 5S, PPE, Forktruck training, aerial lift training, LOTO, and individual awareness training


    Qualifications:

    General knowledge and experience with chemical process systems including but not limited to pumps, valves, piping, control devices, gauges, and regulators is a plus.

    Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot large industrial processing equipment.
    Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems required.
    Must be able to work safely and have knowledge of LOTO.
    Preferred 3-5 years of industrial experience.
    Experience working with 480, 240 and 110v power.
    Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic experience
    Arc Flash experience preferred.
    Two-year technical degree, Vocational, or Apprenticeship Program preferred.
