Position Overview:
As a Collections Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing our US collections team.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize collections efforts, managing team performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a bonus structure based on performance.


Responsibilities:


  • Build and lead a collections team from the ground up, aiming for a team size of 1520 members.
  • Manage and mentor team members, providing training, coaching and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to track team performance and drive results.
  • Monitor and improve collector performance from both a compliance and profitability standpoint.
  • Handle various personality types within the team and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to determine strategic direction and goals for the US collections team.
  • Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews to assess team performance and provide feedback.

Requirements:


  • Prior management experience in collections or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage highperforming teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in collections and debt collections; 10+ years preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Background check is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Pay:
$75, $85,000.00 per year
