    **Training Manager Programme Delivery**

    **The Role**

    Hutchison Ports (UK) - Port of Felixstowe is the largest deep-water Port in the UK and to support our continued growth and development we are looking to recruit a Training Manager Programme Delivery to join our Operational Training department.

    You will be reporting to the Operational Training Manager, being directly responsible for the coordination of training and assessment events in compliance with the Companies Strategic Training Plan. Managing the productivity and safety of training delivery and deal with the obstacles that prevent effective, efficient progress.

    **Key Responsibilities**

    Lead, coordinate and monitor all training delivery to ensure it meets the business requirement, as dictated by the current HPUK Operational Training Plan (OTP). As well as undertaking then a range of reporting/ analysis to inform/ support all training activity with the input to the OTP.

    Act as a focal point for full training support and advice for sub-contractors and external customers.

    Responsible for the Training Delivery Supervisor(s) indirectly responsible for the Training Assessors and Relief Instructors.

    Maintain direct liaisons with Health & Safety to confirm all training delivery conforms to policies and procedures. Attend Operational safety meetings as a focal point for training activity.

    Sufficient time devoted to maintenance of own skills, including off-port training events as required and arranging/ attending regular meetings to improve service delivery (Safety, Operations, Engineering etc.)

    Manage training team to satisfy all of PoF Operational Training requirements, to include time and attendance, absence management.

    Ensure all training activity requirements are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Reports, documents are submitted in a reasonable time scale.

    Lead and Manage the Training Supervisor(s) activities and outputs.

    Oversee the daily training plan to ensure all trainer utilisation and training resources are employed.

    Minimum two years experience, knowledge applicable to the role and be prepared to participate in training functions, which are appropriate to personal development.

    Intermediate level knowledge, experience with the use of PC-based applications.

    Advanced knowledge of internal systems including Cloud based technology, SharePoint.

    Category B DVLA License.

    Formal Managing Safety qualification i.e. IOSH, NEBOSH etc.

    Recognised Train the Trainer qualification.

    National Vocational Qualification in assessment NVQ, A1/A2 or D32/D33.

    Recognised Internal Verification qualification NVQ, V1 or D34.

    Desirable

    Organising workloads in a high volume, complex environment or have worked in a customer facing role delivering excellent service.

    Knowledge of PoF policies and procedures relative to the operational environment.

    Hold relevant National Award Body Assessor / Instructor accreditation (e.g. NPORS, RTIB).

    Hold a valid plant permit, qualifications
