Camp Kesem at The University of Texas - Austin is looking for two nurses to join our summer camp team Kesem offers a free week-long camp for kids affected by their parent's cancer.
Camp is free to attend, and the camp is planned, managed, and staffed by college student volunteers from The University of Texas - Austin.
Camp will be held from July 14th-19th at Luther Hill Camp in La Grange TX (about an hour and a half from the central Austin area).
As a nurse, you will be responsible for dispensing daily medication, as instructed by each camper's physician, and for addressing any health emergencies that may come up over the course of the week.
You must hold an RN, LPN/LVN, or be a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas, or be willing to obtain a temporary license for that state.
