Position Summary:
A GAP Claims Processor will handle GAP claims for customers.

Handle claims calls from customers as well as Insurance Companies, Lenders and Car Dealers (calling on behalf of the consumer).

Responsibilities include the ability to approve, deny and process claims in a claims center environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a diary of new and pending claims.
  • Verify documents for accuracy. Identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Customer service skills and the ability to take ownership in assisting, researching, and resolving claims and other customer service issues.
  • Update company software systems to process claims.
  • Handle 4080 inbound or outbound claims calls each day.
  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies, dealers, customers, and lenders to request required documentation for the claims file.
  • Communicate decision with clients consistent with our contractual agreement.

Education and Work Experience:

Associate degree or High School diploma with minimum 3-year customer service experience.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Adobe.

  • Must demonstrate polite and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and take the initiative to research variances and correct.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics

Hours Required:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
