We currently seek a customer service oriented and self-motivated Information Technology Field Technician to join our team and to provide exceptional client service in all aspects of our day-to-day business in assisting end-user clients and team members with a desire to solve complex, IT issues.
- Set & manage expectations for clients while working on issues. Interpret the importance and impact to the client and maintain a calm and positive attitude during stressful events.
- Perform/Initiate written and verbal communications to/from client and frequently update them on progress in addressing /issues. Effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers, direct managers, and other staff.
- Professionally and accurately document issues and steps taken to fix and resolve issues.
- Perform onsite deployment of new PCs, laptops, MACs, printers, and other new hardware.
- Support enduser operating systems including Windows, Android, & MAC/iOS devices.
- Provide basic LAN/WAN/wireless connectivity.
- Assist and support Engineers on projects and deployments.
- Manage time & service tickets (documentation).
- Participate in afterhours, oncall rotation approximately for one week every 57 weeks.
- Handle special assignments outside of daily functions as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Technical education and/or certification preferred.
- At least two years of field technical-support experience and at least one year of client-service experience.
- At least one year of experience creating, implementing, and following up on service tickets.
- Detail oriented with the ability to document complex technical cases.
- Self-Motivated, adaptable to change and the proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Keen interest and ability to work with technology; particularly computers and mobile devices.
- Strong work ethic and positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, logical, and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 35-50 pounds.
- Must have a dependable vehicle and a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to client sites as needed.

Pay:
$ $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
