What you will do:
- Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reporting and analysis
- Evaluates efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes. Recommends and implements changes to policies and processes to strengthen control environment.
- Perform sophisticated accounting treatment and prepare financial documents and supplementary reporting
- Lead fulfillment of internal and external audit requirements
- Exercise sound data stewardship following data policies (retention, privacy, security) and detailing procedures
- Drive continuous improvement and uses systems to increase controls and efficiencies
- Maintain systems access and security to ensure data integrity and identify anomalies
- Process intercompany netting payments and allocate any payments/receipts on a monthly basis.
How you will get here:
Education:
- Required: An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Desired: CPA
Experience:
- Minimum of 25 years of finance and accounting experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Working understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
- Proficient user of Excel; experience with Infor A+ ERP (or equivalent), PowerPoint, and Hyperion is desired
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills; including experience in writing SOP's and presentation skills.
- Challenges the status quo; introduces and proactively seeks out new insights and solutions to strengthen our performance.
Travel requirements:
Less than 25% domestic/international travel required

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in North Carolina is $75,800.00-$125,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
