OverviewThe Senior Vice President (SVP), Finance and Accounting plays a critical role in overseeing and directing all financial and accounting functions within an organization.
This position is typically a senior executive role reporting directly to the President.The SVP of Finance and Accounting is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and implementing effective financial policies and procedures to support the organization's overall objectives.
QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required/preferred experience education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred or equivalent combination or work experience and education.
Proven track record of success in senior finance roles, with at least 15 years of experience in progressively responsible positions.

Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) :
Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans.

Financial Reporting and Compliance :
Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.

Accounting Operations :
Direct the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
