    Description
    Work for an established General Contractor with clear advancement opportunities, excellent compensation and premium benefits.

    The Senior Estimator will oversee the estimating department on upcoming light industrial construction projects, hard bid, downtown and in surrounding suburbs of Chicago.

    Our client is well-established as one of the top General Contractors in the Chicagoland area, with excellent project delivery downtown and throughout Chicagoland.

    Prepare conceptual budgets, SD/DD/CD estimates and lump sum bids in association with the assigned Project Manager.

    Conduct quantity take-off and studies for all items incorporated in the project, anticipating details necessary to complete the project.

    Read, understand and incorporate project documents, drawings and specifications.
    Conduct pre-bid project walk-throughs. Represent the company in all interpersonal and communications with Owner, Architect, Building Engineer and Subcontractors during bid process.
    Interface with subcontractors and suppliers and evaluate proposals relative to the scope of the work.

    Preferably have a degree in Construction Management or a related field
    ~ Hands-on experience Estimating projects based off blue prints
    ~ Well versed in Procore, Bluebeam and other estimating software's
    ~ Performance based bonus potential
