Essential Job Functions

  • Reads and interprets docket specifications on work orders.
  • Reads and interprets layouts.
  • Works within Adobe Creative Cloud or QuarkXpress desktop environments.
  • Utilizing Kodak Prinergy Prepress System, processes, and QC's customer files.
  • Troubleshoots problem files, determines cause and solution, documents detail of problem and gives feedback to Account Manager and/or Desktop Specialist.
  • Learns new software and understands how to use it to meet production needs.
  • Produces content & contract proofs for customer approval.
  • Adheres to all SOPs specific to the Prepress Department.
  • Promotes and maintains a safe work environment.

Skills & Experience:


  • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Kodak Prinergy and Preps.
  • Enfocus Pitstop
  • Epson Inkjet Proofers
  • Mac OS & Windows Computers

Physical Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in prepress or technical education equivalent.
  • Experience working on Apple & Windows computer platforms.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving.

Compensation:
$17.00 to $22.00 per hour

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
