Production Test Technician - Sunnyvale, United States - TEK Group
Description
Position Summary:
- Work in a teambased environment within a manufacturing lab responsible for synthesizing and testing ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and qualification of resin products to meet customer criteria.
- Record and report test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Complete complex production work orders according to established procedures.
- Analyze data, derive conclusions, and prepare reports based on findings.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines and corporate quality requirements.
- Follow EH&S safety requirements and actively participate in safety improvement activities.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and propose countermeasures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Laboratory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Chromatography software is a plus.
- Good mathematical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills(verbal and written).
- Ability to read and understand written procedures (SOPs) and follow verbal instructions.
- Adherence to work schedule.
- Familiarity with hand tools regularly used (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezer, etc.)
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ownership mentality and ability to meet established targets.
- Understanding of production schedules and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Handson experience in a Chemistry laboratory is preferred.
Education, Experience & Physical Requirements:
- At least 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- A bachelor's in chemistry and or biotechnology is required.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands & fingers to handle & feel.
- Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Personal Protective Equipment:
- The job requires wearing lab coats, Safety glasses, gloves & safety shoes all companyprovided.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Contract
Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Experience:
- Pharmaceutical industry: 5 years (preferred)
- CGMP: 5 years (preferred)
