Assistant Machine Operator position in
New Paltz, NY.

  • Our Second Shift works Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am
- $16 to $19 an hour depending on experience. More for experienced Flexographic Die Cutter Operator

Responsibilities:


Position Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in the setting up and running high speed manufacturing equipment
  • Load raw materials into machines, Palletize finished product for delivery
  • Follow Operators direction in adjusting machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure and amount of material for quality production
  • Cleaning high speed manufacturing equipment
  • Make sure the work environment remains uncluttered, clean and wellmaintained to ensure safety

Qualifications:

  • Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills
  • Ability to measure to the 16th of an inch
  • Willingness to work on multiple pieces of equipment
  • High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience
  • Prior experience working with inks and PMS/GCMU colors preferred
  • Experience operating a highspeed printing machine preferred
  • Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
