Creating, maintaining, and monitoring raw material specifications
Creating, maintaining, and monitoring menu specifications, including nutritional calculations and ingredient lists
Handling customer and supplier complaints
Managing and analyzing complaint statistics
Updating data in CAQS
Participating in tastings for raw materials and commercial products
Requesting conformity declarations and specifications for nonfood items
Attending internal meetings
Collaborating with product development on new menu creations
Comparing specifications with raw materials, commercial products, and equipment in collaboration with product development and quality assurance
Creating declarations (labels) and reviewing and approving packaging designs

Other duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

Completed training as a food technology specialist and previous experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, knowledge of Finnish or Italian is a plus
Good understanding of work processes, rules, and guidelines
Proficient in using computers and software, preferably BaaN ERP, WebSpec, and Nuts
Knowledge of food regulations
Empathy, ability to work in a team, and assertiveness
Planning, coordination, and organizational skills
High level of dedication, resilience, and flexibility
Confident and articulate
Numerical and analytical thinking skills
Comfortable working with computer screens
