We are seeking a motivated and experienced OSP (Outside Plant) Field Supervisor to oversee the construction and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
The OSP Field Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, ensuring all construction activities are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate OSP technicians and contractors involved in construction, installation, and maintenance.
- Oversee planning and scheduling of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians, troubleshooting issues and resolving conflicts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review project plans and specifications, making recommendations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including project documentation, work orders, and progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide updates on project status and address concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to OSP construction and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of OSP construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of OSP design principles, construction techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel to various job sites as needed.
