For our location in Burghaun, we are looking for apprentices for technical product design (m/f/d) starting in August 2024.The apprenticeship lasts for 3.5 years and takes place in a dual system, both at our company in Burghaun and at the vocational school. The vocational school takes place one to two days a week at the Ferdinand-Braun-Schule in Fulda. The apprenticeship ends with a successful final exam before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. With good academic and company performance, the apprenticeship can be shortened, meaning the final exam can be taken earlier.
Technical product designers support engineers in product development. They design individual parts and assemblies of technical products. This includes calculating all technical data of the planned workpieces, such as volume, dimensions, torque, and friction.
Your main tasks include:- Creating designs for our own products
- Developing designs for customer requests
- Creating drawings
- Working with 3D CAD systems
- Participating in project and process management
- Creating graphic layouts for presentations
