Bongards needs to add a Team Lead for Sanitation to keep up with our growth.
This opening is on the night shift and the schedule for this position is from 10 pm to 6 am Sunday night through Friday night with an occasional Saturday.
The Sanitation Team is responsible for the overall sanitation of the plant and equipment.Job Duties:
Assist Supervisor with managing lines and personnel.
Responsible for the overall sanitation of the plant and equipment associated with the Loaf, Slice, Bulk, and 5lb line.
Ability to be trained on multiple sanitation assignments.
Responsible for breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while also adhering to core Safety, Food Safety policies, Company policies and Maintain highest quality standards for plant and equipment cleanliness.
Work in a safe and proficient manner.Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicalsChemical training (Silliker Labs, R-Tech, Ecolab, MVTL)Able to follow SOP's (Standard operation procedures) and SSOP's (Sanitation standard operation procedure)Becomes trained and is knowledgeable about all GMPs and HACCP guidelinesExpected to learn ROSS systemsStrives to continually improve through additional training and being an integral part of the sanitation teamAble to meet critical deadlines and deal with confidential issues.
Must report all quality and food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.All other duties as assigned.
