- Coordinating and preparing training literature manuals systems
- Leading class instruction on the fundamentals of mechanical electrical pneumatic refrigeration and other job related maintenance subjects
- Maintaining training aids student records and scheduling classes
- Performing maintenance orientation training for new maintenance team members
- Interfacing with appropriate vendors concerning training content and delivery
- Coordinating and leading safety training of the maintenance department
- Coordinating administering and assessing hands-on training requirements of maintenance personnel
- Performing other tasks as deemed appropriate by the Manager
- All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for planning and execution of the Maintenance Training Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: High School Diploma GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred. Must complete Level 8 in the Tyson Foods Maintenance Training Program within 6 months time frame.
Computer Skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel Word; knowledge of Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to successfully interface with all levels of the plant organization.
Certification: Certification in any applicable training topics or techniques is a plus.
Special Skills: Proven good safety and attendance record along with strong management skills.
Travel: 1-5 trips per year as the need arises.
