- Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while isolating and resolving problems involving the applications, operating systems, hardware, communications, or infrastructure
- Experience with hand-off of problem reports to appropriate client leadership
- Experience providing systems and account administration consistent with system requirements to support remote system services
- Experience providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Experience installing and loading operating systems and application software
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Ability to support shift work
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in IT, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in IT, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in IT
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
- Experience supporting a help desk
- Experience with network devices, including firewall administration
- Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems and processes
- Knowledge of government security practices and policies
- Ability to navigate problems quickly and route issues to proper priority
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
