Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- A passion for the game of tennis and helping others
- Positive coaching style and a fun and welcoming attitude that kids and adults respond to
- The ability to lead and communicate effectively to groups of children and adults
- Solid playing ability (4.0+ NTRP)
- Fast paced and accurate ball feeding skills
- The ability to work with a wide variety of skill levels with the focus on beginning through UTR
- Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
- A good understanding of classic and modern tennis fundamentals
- A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun
- A strong workethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times
- Must be willing to follow current covid 19 safety guidelines
Schedule:
25-28hrs/week - schedules vary seasonally; school year classes are primarily after school, evenings and weekends. Summer hours include daytime tennis camps.
Pay
$26 - $34
