- Experience working in a carpentry position

The Dogwood team is dedicated to finding creative design solutions to meet our customers' needs. General Job DescriptionDogwood Industries LLC is seeking an assembly specialist to join our team.
A successful candidate is someone who can assemble components and materials efficiently and accurately in accordance with plans and specifications and as directed by others.
Understands written and verbal instruction and can understand and follow drawings and work instruction. Candidate should be able to operate all-non-specialized shop equipment as well as hand and power tools. Candidates will work with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components. Candidate is skilled in carpentry, material handling, mechanical assembly, and maintains a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping.All other duties as assigned

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time.
Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 70 pounds. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment.The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Compensation$ $34.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits * Health Benefits, including medical, dental and vision
