Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Welfare Specialist to join our team.

As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in need.

This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Duties:

• Conduct assessments and investigations to determine the safety and welfare of children
• Collaborate with families, service providers, and community resources to develop appropriate intervention plans
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of children and families involved in the child welfare system
• Provide counseling and support services to children and families
• Maintain accurate and uptodate case records
• Prepare detailed reports for court hearings and other legal proceedings
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations and make informed decisions
• Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies for efficient program management
• Proficiency in using Visio for process mapping and workflow visualization
• Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Ability to create test cases and perform testing activities to ensure software quality
• Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with children, families, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Ability to vaticinate potential challenges or risks in child welfare cases
