Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Review and appeal denied or rejected claims
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
- Utilize ICD10 and other coding systems accurately
- Maintain patient medical records and confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical office staff to ensure billing accuracy
Experience:
- Previous experience in medical billing and collections
- Proficiency in ICD10 coding and DRG systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices
- Familiarity with medical office operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
