Overview:

SOLARCYCLE is seeking a Machine Operator for our solar panel recycling line. In this role, you will be responsible for operating recycling equipment either solo or as part of a team. Daily job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Performs daily PMS and Documents
Operates assigned equipment to process materials
Completes machine adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoots equipment to ensure efficient machine operation
Performs preventative maintenance and preventative cleaning on equipment as assigned
Operates related production equipment, including Pre-Wash systems, Wash systems, Extrusion systems, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other related equipment
Performs work in a safe manner and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures
Responsible for ensuring the line is fed with good quality raw materials to produce finished goods product quality
Responsible for adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices GMP rules
Responsible for maintaining high standards relating to area housekeeping
Assists in other work areas as needed or directed by the department supervisor
Communicate with leadership and maintain all downtime events
Must have good attendance and be a self-starter

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED.
Combination of additional education and experience.
Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Must be able to work second shift.
