    Job Title: Machine Operator (Fabrication Tech 1)

    Job Description:

    The Machine Operator (Fabrication Tech 1) is responsible for being thoroughly trained in all aspects of the shop floor, including tasks such as cutting, grooving, hole cutting, assembly, cataloging, and utilizing the shop floor platform knowledge (Mendix) under the guidance of a certified trainer. Working closely with the team lead, the Tech 1 must ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, with duties subject to change based on business requirements.



    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Ensure a safe work environment
    • Maintain attendance record
    • Execute daily shop floor operations
    • Uphold Victaulic's quality standards
    • Adhere to project schedules and manage materials efficiently
    • Proficiently operate fab cell equipment
    • Complete daily checklists and TPM's
    • Demonstrate expertise in equipment operation
    • Implement 5S responsibilities
    • Follow all policies and procedures
    • Perform other assigned tasks

    Weekly Responsibilities:

    • Monitor daily performance
    • Ensure completion of all TPM's and Checklists
    • Address project issues promptly
    • Achieve set goals

    Monthly Responsibilities:

    • Oversee completion of TPM's
    • Collaborate with Fab lead on FEM
    • Obtain certification in at least one 5S FEM discipline

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • High School diploma
    • Minimum 3 years of technical experience
    • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical manuals
    • Previous experience operating forklifts
    • Forklift license required for specified equipment (obtainable post-employment)
    • Familiarity with forklift-mounted computers and barcode scanners (training provided as needed)
    • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 45 pounds
