We are looking for you to join our Material Management Gastronomy department at UKM starting on August 1st, 2024.

Duration of training: 3 years


The diverse gastronomy at UKM consists of the following areas: patient catering, cafeteria, bistro kiosk, vending machines, diet kitchen, main kitchen, bakery, picking zone, and the UKM Catering Herd and Seele with the restaurant Zum Dekan.

These areas produce, organize, and coordinate the meals for patients, guests, and employees.


Your responsibilities:

  • During your threeyear training, you will learn a variety of tasks
  • Production of rye, wheat, mixed, and specialty breads, as well as various types of rolls
  • Preparation of fine pastries made from puff, shortcrust, and yeast dough, such as brioche and pancakes
  • Handcrafted dough preparation and processing
  • Manual operation of stone ovens
  • Adherence to quality and hygiene standards.
