The German Swimming Federation, with around 560,000 members, is one of the largest sports associations in Germany and is committed to promoting swimming in all its diversity, from five Olympic sports to recreational and health sports.

In the Administration / Management department, we are currently looking for:

a Finance and Licensing Officer (m/f/d)
for an indefinite part-time position of 20 hours per week at our headquarters in Kassel.

Your main tasks include:

Managing and monitoring the internal review and approval process for invoices
Checking invoices for accuracy and content
Handling debt collection
Organizing and processing incoming applications for registration, change of starting rights, and licensing of athletes
Maintaining the online licensing portal and processing incoming applications
Maintaining and processing the DSV's licensing and club registers
Providing information from the registers and communicating with regional swimming associations and clubs
Issuing confirmations and certificates for submission to foreign associations
Handling all correspondence for the licensing department

Your profile:

Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
Ability to work confidentially, carefully, and reliably
Proactive and forwardthinking
Strong communication and information skills, as well as a sense of responsibility
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products
Knowledge of club and association structures is desirable
