Blair Image Elements, a leader in supplying signage and related branding elements to regional, national and international clients, is currently seeking a Technical Buyer to join our Procurement team in Altoona, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and finished goods to support our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Sourcing raw materials and finished products from vendors.
• Managing planning messages via ERP system
• Establishing long term contracts and purchase orders
• Collaborating with internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Reviewing and utilizing engineering documents to evaluate and initiate purchase requests.

What we're looking for:

• A strong background in procurement, ideally spanning 5-7 years, with a specific emphasis on technical purchases.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and setting priorities within a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in cultivating influential relationships both internally and externally.
