- Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Micro-station, Spatial or ESRI software, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in designing and/or constructing telecommunications fiber networks is necessary, along with competence in design methodology, process, and metrics. High integrity, strong work ethic, attention to detail, creative thinking, and strategic abilities are essential. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills are crucial.
- Preferably, familiarity with easement, right-of-way, and permit documents is beneficial for navigating regulatory requirements during network deployment.
- A blend of technical expertise in fiber optic network design, proficiency in relevant software tools, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills are key for this role.

Job Description:
As a Fiber Designer IV, you will be responsible for designing and developing layouts for Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) fiber networks, with a focus on supporting Node Splits. This includes designing continuous fiber routes over existing and new build fiber optic cables, creating fiber splice documents, and utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, and Spatial data.
Your main tasks will involve generating bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation, reviewing designs for errors and efficiency, analyzing OTDR traces, troubleshooting fiber circuits, and identifying efficiency gains in processes. Additionally, you will create and maintain technical documentation, support the leadership team with fiber design documents, and may advise and train other designers.
