Job Description

This role is based at our Fountain Inn, SC location and supports the Rineer line in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be located in Fountain Inn, SC, Grove City, OH, or nearby and must be willing to travel as needed. Responsibilities include:

Designing and developing hydraulic motor solutions for industrial and mobile markets.
Preparing bills of material, conducting cost analysis, and creating technical documentation.
Developing new motor products and modifying existing ones, including performing design calculations.
Prioritizing work assignments and ensuring timely project completion.
Assisting in material procurement and monitoring project progress.
Providing technical sales support and training to internal and external customers.
Traveling domestically and internationally for product support and customer training.
Identifying opportunities to enhance existing products for improved competitiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or fluid power discipline with at least 3 years of mechanical design experience.
Proficiency in CAD design, preferably Creo (Pro/ENGINEER).
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and machining processes.
Experience in material selection and mechanical-hydraulic engineering fundamentals.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across different levels of the organization.
Familiarity with problem-solving techniques and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Capacity for up to 10% travel.
