Job Description

Your tasks

  • As a Contract Manager for decentralized energy generation (m/f/d), you are responsible for the commercial design, review, and negotiation of supply contracts for components of our decentralized energy generation plants
  • You take over contract management during the planning, construction, and commissioning phase up to acceptance and snagging
  • You coordinate with the relevant departments for the review of liability and insurance concepts, tax implications, and payment security
  • You manage suppliers and service providers (from pre-qualification to the creation of commercial tender documents and contract negotiations to contract award)
  • You monitor the project budget, conduct project-related reporting, and take the lead in claims and change order management
  • You work closely with the central E.ON departments Legal and Supply Chain as well as with project management, planning offices, and construction management

Your profile

  • Successful commercial or business law studies, alternatively commercial training with relevant further education
  • At least five years of professional experience in comparable positions, know-how in plant construction is an advantage
  • Experience in negotiating commercial issues in contracts and in project execution
  • Interest and willingness to acquire
