- Service a variety of HVAC products and equipment ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units accurately.
- Utilize hand-tools and specialty equipment typical in the commercial HVAC Service trade.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at customer's location.
- Conduct site surveys, report equipment deficiencies, and provide sales leads as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications requested by customers.
- Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts and coordinating necessary materials.
- Diagnose inoperable equipment, plan repairs, and execute solutions promptly.
- Manage replacement parts, complete repairs on time, and handle materials efficiently.
- Maintain proper communication with customers and document work accurately.
- Provide technical support and ensure customer needs are met.
- Be flexible to work overtime/weekends when necessary and stay updated on industry trends.
- Education/Experience - Associate's Degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
- Minimum of Three (3) years related experience preferred.
- Operational knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software preferred.
- Proficient in problem-solving, data analysis, and cost-effective solutions.
- Ability to present information effectively and work well in a team.
- Valid driver's license and EPA refrigerant handling certification required.
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, walk, reach, and lift heavy objects.
- Work may involve exposure to various weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.

Position Purpose:
The main goal of the HVAC Service Technician role is to deliver preventative maintenance, start-up, warranty, and repair services on light commercial and industrial air conditioning equipment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This position may involve after-hour call outs for emergency repairs.
