Currently, around 2,200 employees of the Trier city administration are dedicated to serving the needs of its citizens.

In this context, the city of Trier is seeking a full-time, permanent IT system administrator (m/f/d) for the Office of Fire, Civil Protection, and Emergency Services, starting as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

Support and administration of various specialized applications (including iSE Cobra 4, Cobra Map)
Ensuring network and IT system security and maintenance of components
Organizing hardware and software operations by initiating relevant measures
Administration of heterogeneous server infrastructure
Data collection and maintenance for the emergency response system
Implementation of guidelines from the responsible ministry and the responsible authority for emergency services (Trier-Saarburg district administration)
Trustful cooperation with emergency service providers and stakeholders in fire and disaster management
Participation in the continuous development of the IT infrastructure of the integrated control centers in Rhineland-Palatinate

Your profile:

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (preferably in system integration)
At least one year of relevant work experience
Experience in databases, especially MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, desirable
