    Description

    Junior Helpdesk Specialist

    Location: Springfield, VA

    Company: Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS)

    Summary:

    • Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software
    • Respond to customer queries, run diagnostic programs, and implement solutions
    • Assist customers via email or chat, walking them through problem-solving
    • Ensure issue resolution and gather feedback on system usage
    • Create tickets and manage incidents in the IT Help Desk system
    • Attempt First Call Resolution for all requests
    • Support 24/7 operations center including varied shifts and weekends
    • No supervisory responsibilities
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience
    • Operational experience with ServiceNow and Intelligence Community
    • Customer service, organizational, and time management skills required
    • DoD 8140 (formerly M), IAT Level I certification (A+ CE or Security+ CE)

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong business, organizational, and communication skills
    • Handle confidential information with discretion
    • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking
    • Motivated self-starters with attention to detail
