Join the GLS family and become a part of our team We are currently looking for a new team member to work with us in Lafayette.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Here's what you can expect from this role:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and operating our sorting and conveyor systems to ensure smooth production
  • In case of any malfunctions, you will troubleshoot and repair the equipment (both electrically and mechanically)
  • As a problem solver, you will regularly communicate with the shift and production managers to keep them updated on the status of the equipment
  • You will also work on special projects with different departments, such as installing a scale with the IT team
  • Additionally, you will handle minor repairs for our building and take care of our outdoor area
  • Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety measures.
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Completed a technical education, for example as a mechatronics technician.
