Job Summary

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide Guidance to undergraduate students with their assigned projects and help troubleshoot their experiments.
  • Assisting postdocs with experiments, data analysis, immunehisto chemistry.
  • Perform other general lab duties with other lab technicians.
  • Capable of solving both routine and semiroutine problems including assessing and diagnosing the nature of problems while referring more complex issues to higher levels.
  • Occasionally require an alternative work schedule, with the possibility of weekend work to meet project deadlines or address unexpected issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related field & proven track record of practical aspects of the position required.
  • Experience in stem cells and tissue culture.
  • Ability to foster good working relationships with members of the lab.
  • Work productively and efficiently under mínimal supervision.
  • Eager to learn new techniques and methodologies.
  • Problem solver.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in related field.
  • Experience in working with stem cells.
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry and confocal microscopy.
  • Data analysis experience and demonstrable quantitative skills.
