We are currently seeking a(n) Assessor (m/f/d) for our department SBD1, specializing in "Pharmacovigilance", at the earliest possible date in Brooklyn Heights.

We, at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute,

are a federal scientific institution responsible for the examination and approval of vaccines and biomedical drugs, as well as conducting research in the field of life sciences.

Our networking with national and international stakeholders makes us a competent contact for the public, science, medicine, politics, and economy.

The "Pharmacovigilance" department

is responsible for monitoring the safety of approved biomedical drugs (allergens, monoclonal antibodies, and sera) as well as vaccines.

The goal of our monitoring and scientific activities is to identify and evaluate risks and side effects, and to take measures for risk prevention and management in drug therapy.

In the context of European approval procedures, a coordinated approach among EU member states is necessary. The team at the Pharmacovigilance department consists of various professionals and scientific staff.
