    >> Warehouse Operator Warehouse Operator Summary Title:Warehouse OperatorID:1163Location:Memphis, TNDepartment:Operations Description Role Summary: Operate a forklift with limited supervision in various warehouse capacities and be able to perform all Radio Frequency (RF) scanning functions needed to properly receive, place, remove, transfer and ship finished products and supplies throughout the facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Performs and documents safety and preventative maintenance checks daily on all equipment prior to its use.

    Use appropriate equipment (push/pull, side shift, triple stage forklift and stretch wrapper) according to production and warehouse demands. Able to successfully learn how to operate the turret Forklift safely and efficiently and successfully demonstrate their ability to scan and remove or place supplies to and from the supply racks.

    Properly load trailers in a manner that will not result in overweight axles. Demonstrate the ability to create finished product pallets and correctly and efficiently perform putaway functions while positioning the pallets in warehouse storage locations and/or supplies to their designated areas according to company specifications or as directed by a Supervisor, Lead Person or Manager.

    Observe the quality of the product and/or supplies prior to and during movement and informs Supervisor or Lead Person if it does not meet company specifications (ie. Damaged product will be properly advised to management when seen or occurring in the warehouse).

    Keep equipment, work areas and assigned areas clean and orderly according to proper Safety and Sanitation Procedures.

    Follow all shipping procedures and GMP procedures as directed by management and supervisory staff and company policies to ensure correct product, code dates and quantities are being shipped to the customers/warehouses.

    Job Qualification:

    Work indoors & outdoors in areas with machinery and equipment in a safe manner in varying weather conditions.

    Use job related equipment including carious types of forklifts, sweepers, stretch wrappers, turret forklift and scissor lifts up to a height of 36 feed and must be proficient in the use of Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment

    Normal or corrected hearing and vision, good hand/eye coordination and physical strength, ability to perform routine, and heavy manual task depending on the area of assignment. Ability to safely and properly mount and dismount from forklifts.

    Must be able to handle equipment safely and sensibly and become qualified through the company Forklift Certification program and battery changing training classes.

    Education:

    Require high school graduate or equivalent and able to follow oral and written instructions.
