Job Summary


As part of our Regional Center Operations Division, the Resource Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that GET SAFE's case management staff provides personal safety, advocacy, and risk-mitigation services to persons with developmental disabilities who are registered with the California State Regional Center system.

The Resource Coordinator is responsible for executing and overseeing office processes and clerical matters between departments, employees, clients, and external parties - with the ultimate goal of enhancing department-wide productivity.

Working in a hybrid-remote office setting


The Resource Coordinator will be part of a team that primarily interfaces and interacts virtually, with occasional in-person meetings on pre-determined occasions.

This means that the Resource Coordinator will perform various administrative functions working remotely from home while maintaining on-call availability for "live" communication via multiple modes of telecommunication (e.g., phone calls, video conferencing, MS Teams messaging, etc.) with the RC Ops Team at all times during established work schedule hours.

The Resource Coordinator will also have set days/times of work that must be carried out in the agency's administrative headquarters, located in Tustin, CA.


Position Specifications:


  • Fulltime; nonexempt; 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid-Remote Position some days/times working in the agency's physical office in Tustin, CA
  • Monday ‐ Friday 8am 4:30 pm
  • Pay Range: $21 $22 per hour
General & Office Administration

  • Respond to mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, and miscellaneous errands relating to efficient and smooth agency operations
  • Receive, open, sort, and organize delivered mail and packages, distributing them as necessary
  • Implement organization procedures for timely physical and/or electronic delivery of any documents to management and other relevant parties
  • Support and facilitate interdepartmental communications and interactions among staff
  • Respond to emerging and miscellaneous "inoffice" activities and needs independently or with mínimal supervision
Equipment and Inventory

  • Monitor access to, and distribution of, equipment and general inventory
  • Maintain updated inventory and tracking systems
  • Troubleshooting technology
  • Implement any additional organization procedures needed for timely physical and/or electronic delivery of resources
Employment Management Operations

  • Assist with the development and coordination of outreach, information materials, skills development workshops, and other special projects, as needed
Professional Conduct, Communication, & Culture

  • Execute all work functions with high integrity, tact, and a positive attitude
  • Utilize a collaborative spirit, proactive communication, and a problemsolving mindset to establish and maintain productive working relationships with peer and management staff
  • Monitor and respond to incoming communications from staff, clients, and/or external agencies
  • Participate in mandated trainings, quality assurance meetings, and opportunities for professional development, with a willingness to give and receive balanced, constructive feedback

Required Qualifications:


  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in administrative support field
  • B.A. degree in any field (AA degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience may substitute)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge and understanding of ZOOM
  • Proficiency with office technology and equipment, including fax machines, printers, copiers, scanners, computers, and phones
  • Strong task and time management skills
  • Demonstrated patience, professionalism, and integrity
  • A team player who is selfmotivated to help, with a flexible, problemsolving mindset
